Progressive Insurance loses at trial offer increases from $2,433.00 to $16,856.63
Accident date May 7, 2005. Our client was driving across Empire Central, stopped in the median, and the defendant backed. We asked Progressive to settleon August 18, 2005 with $7,437.00 in medical bills. The adjuster from Progressive offered only $2,433.00 on September 7, 2005, stating " low impact, considered $1933 in medical, not paying for MRI's because there was no radiating pain and not paying for reading of MRI, paid for er visit and 4 weeks of chiro and $111.00 lost wages."
Suit was filed December 22, 2005 and on March 6, 2007 Progressive offered only $3,400.00. The case was tried on May 15, 2007. The jury awarded all $16,122.69. . According to our records, this is the 754th case that our office has either settled or tried with Progressive. We have the experience so call us.

On August 7, 2004 our plaintiff was N/B on Jupiter Rd and was making a left to get onto I-635 when the defendent who was S/B on Jupiter Rd disregarded a stop and go light and struck our plaintiff on the passenger side. This collision caused more then 4,000 in damages to the car. The plaintiff suffered neck, back and shoulder injuries. A demand was sent to progressive on 11-24-04 and they only offered $7,861.00 to settle. A lawsuit was filed on 6-1-05 against progressive. On August 29, 2006 at Mediation the case was settled for $22,000.00. file 214449

On May 25, 2005 our client was a passenger in a car traveling westbound on 175/Hawn Frwy and the driver of that car rearended a tow vehicle. The plaintiff was rushed to Kaufman Presbyterian Hospital where she was suffering from injuries to her neck, back, knees and a broken right hand. Progressive initially offered $750.00 to settle. On August 31, 2005. Ben Abbott submitted a demand to Progressive. The case settled on November 21, 2005. We have asked for our clients permission for more details. file 216-777

On November 12, 2005, our client, Enrique Albino-Cabrera was traveling northbound on highway 121 in Lewisville, Texas, the Defendant, Jared Peveto was traveling southbound turning east. The defendant sruck is front left into our client's left passenger side. Lewisville Police Department report number 514612 cited the defendant for failure to yield right of way and d.w.i. Enrique was treated at Parkland for a broken rib, among other injuries, with meidcal bills of $33,407. Ben Abbott demanded the case, and initially Progressive lied and told us that the defendant had $20,000 of insurance. After pressing Progressive for proof, they admitted that the defendant had $100,000 worth of insurance, and agreed to pay it yesterday, netting our client $33,103.86 in his pocket in only seven months.
