How long does it take?

My rule of thumb is:  A rent car will often be provided in a day or two. A body shop will repair a car in two weeks or less. An injury claim will settle six weeks from a complete demand. A lawsuit will settle or be tried 22 months from date of filing. These numbers vary greatly depending on the facts of each case.  You should not expect this happen to you, that's why people hire lawyers!                

How much will I get?

Can Ben Abbott refer me to a doctor?
You should go to your family doctor. We know that many Texans don't have health insurance, and can send you to a number of providers who will accept the attorney's promise to pay from any insurance company settlement or judgment.  Remember that if you lose, you may have to still pay medical bills.  Also remember that if your attorney refers you to a doctor, the relationship between the doctor and the lawyer might be able to be used for impeachment at trial, along with prior criminal convictions and prior injuries.

It is best to get your car fixed at the dealership or your local ServiceKing and to get a rental car from Enterprise.  Sometimes, it is not that easy and you need to call Ben.
